Ayushmann Khurrana is back among the audience with his new film Doctor G. Ayushmann is seen in the role of a women’s doctor in the film. The film has made a box office collection of around Rs 3.87 crore on the first day of release. Let us inform that on Friday, along with Doctor G, Parineeti Chopra starrer film Code Name Tiranga was also released. Doctor G has been getting mixed response from audience and critics since its release.
Doctor Zee first day collection better than Ayushmann’s previous film ‘Anek’
Doctor G first day collection is much better than Ayushmann’s previous release film Anek’s first day collection. Anek had earned around Rs 1.77 crore on the first day of release, while the actor’s 2021 release Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui also did Doctor G. Earned around the collection itself.
The film did well on day one: Taran Adarsh
Giving information about Doctor G first day collection, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on his Twitter handle – “The film did well on the first day even without any pre-release buzz. There are chances of earning on the second and third day also. Need a little more push for a respectable weekend total. Friday…38 million #IndiaBiz”
The film got mixed response
Since its release, Doctor G got a mixed response from the audience and critics. Some liked the film while some termed it as rubbish. Apart from Ayushmann, the film also stars Shefali Shah and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The film was released in theaters on 14 October.
